Case Studies: Impact of Inadequate Staffing and Deviations From Standard of Care

The November 2017 edition of Case Review – a review of case studies for MLMIC-insured physicians and facilities – is now available for reading online. There are two case studies in this issue:

• Case Study #1: “Systemic Failures and Poor Care Lead to Death in the PACU.” This case highlights the results of multiple deviations from the standard of care.
