Legal Implications of Lavern's Law

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District II will hold its 2018 Regional Meeting on June 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester, New York. In addition to being an exhibitor, MLMIC is sponsoring a lecture that will update attendees about Lavern’s Law.

In a presentation titled “The Legal Implications of Lavern’s Law,” Donnie Richman, Esq., an attorney at the law firm of Fager Amsler Keller & Schoppmann, counsel to MLMIC, will provide an overview of the recent passing of Lavern’s Law, explain its impact and offer risk management strategies that can address the extended statute of limitations for misdiagnosed cancer cases.
