MLMIC is thrilled to collaborate with the Medical Society of the County of Erie, the Erie County Bar Association and the University at Buffalo School of Law to bring you “Knowledge is Power: A Snapshot of Medical Liability” on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
Join us as representatives from MLMIC’s Risk Management and Legal Departments present claims data for the most frequently targeted medical specialties, identify the most common allegations against physicians and offer strategies to mitigate the risk of these claims.
By the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:
- Identify the specialties most frequently targeted in malpractice claims.
- Discuss the most common allegations made against New York’s physicians.
- Understand the factors that impact physician liability in this state.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate the risks of a medical malpractice claim.
